Privacy Policy

dfmi (the “Service”) is operated by Wang LLC (“dfmi”, “we”, “us”, “our”). This Policy explains what information we collect through dfmi.app and its subdomains, how we use it, and your choices. dfmi is an experimental, non-custodial payment market built on a public blockchain. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1Who we are

2Information we collect

dfmi has no user accounts and requires no sign-up. We collect the minimum needed to run and protect the Service:

On-chain data. Blockchain wallet addresses, transactions, and settlements you create on the dfmi chain. This data is public and permanent by design — we do not control the blockchain and cannot alter or erase it.
Technical & usage data. Your IP address, request headers, approximate location, timestamps, and browser/device information, logged by our servers and reverse proxy for security, abuse prevention, and rate-limiting (for example, the faucet’s per-address and per-IP limits).
Communications. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include.

We do not collect names, government IDs, KYC documents, payment-card data, or account passwords, and we never receive your wallet private keys.

3Cookies & local storage

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The Service uses your browser’s sessionStorage only to remember your language choice and the site you arrived from, to improve navigation. That data stays in your browser and is cleared when you close the tab.

4How we use information

To operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
To prevent fraud, Sybil attacks, wash trading, and other abuse (including faucet limits);
To protect the security and integrity of the Service and the chain;
To analyze aggregate, non-identifying usage;
To respond to your inquiries; and
To comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms.

5How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with:

Service providers acting on our behalf — cloud hosting (e.g., Amazon Web Services), blockchain RPC infrastructure, and third-party AI/LLM providers used to generate market reports;
Authorities where required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, our users, or the public.

On-chain data is inherently public and visible to anyone.

6Data retention

Server logs and rate-limit records are kept only as long as needed for security and operation, then deleted or anonymized. On-chain records are permanent and outside our control.

7Blockchain transparency

Important: Wallet addresses and transactions on the dfmi chain are public, transparent, and permanent. Anyone can view them, and they cannot be edited or deleted — including by us. Do not use the Service if you require your transaction data to be private or erasable.

8Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a regulator. To exercise these rights, email admin@dfmi.app. Note that we cannot modify or delete blockchain records, which are public and immutable by nature, and some data must be retained for security or legal reasons.

9Children

The Service is not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under 18 (or the age of majority where you live). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10International users

The Service is operated and hosted in [jurisdiction / United States]. By using it, you consent to your information being processed there, under laws that may differ from those of your home country.

11Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, but no system is completely secure. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your wallet and private keys; we never receive or store them.

12Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Effective” date above reflects the latest version. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
